How Exercise Makes Your Skin Glow

It’s no secret that exercise is good for you. But did you know it can also keep you looking youthful by slowing down the signs of ageing?

By getting your heart pumping, you're increasing blood circulation to your skin cells, which enhances the delivery of nutrients and oxygen and decreases inflammation throughout the body. Better yet, it enhances collagen production, resulting in powerful anti-ageing effects.

When you sweat your pores dilate, enhancing the removal of dead skin cells, toxins and product build-up. By removing these impurities, inflammation caused by foreign matter is reduced, leading to less acne.

Additionally, acne is caused by the over-production of sebum. By exercising, you’re promoting the release of endorphins and lowering cortisol, slowing down the production of sebum and relieving stress!

For a bright complexion and youthful looking skin, try incorporating some exercise into your daly routine. Our current favourites are strength training and yoga.
